Nishi is committed to building more holistic systems of care to deeply impact the trajectories of children in underserved communities. At The Primary School, she has focused on our team-based approach to care and whole child programs. Prior to this, she was a consultant helping healthcare clients solve strategic challenges. Nishi became interested in the intersections between education, health, and social-emotional development while serving as a 7th grade literature teaching fellow for Breakthrough Collaborative. She also previously trained college students to teach health education in Boston public high schools through the organization Peer Health Exchange.
Nishi has a B.S. in Psychology and English from Tufts University. She was a visiting student in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford.
