Passionate about empowering individuals to utilize their talents and capacities towards the betterment of society, Vida comes to The Primary School after working with children, youth, and families in communities throughout Northern California in a variety of community and school-based settings. Most recently, Vida comes to The Primary School after managing school and corporate partnerships in the East Palo Alto Ravenswood School District with the Spark Program, providing opportunities for middle school students to explore their talents and potential career paths. Prior to, she served as a Regional Program Coordinator for the Ruhi Institute throughout Northern California, assisting individuals and communities to develop their capacity to serve their community and work towards building stronger, more united communities.
Vida earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in Global Poverty. She believes that every individual is a "mine rich in gems of inestimable value" and that "education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom" and is excited to be engaging in releasing these gems with The Primary School Team as an Executive Assistant.
