Ana Nishioka

Earning her B.A. in Biology and Dance/Movement Studies from Scripps College, integration has been a defining theme of Ana’s education and career. Therefore, she is thrilled to bring her enthusiasm for multidisciplinary learning to TPS!

Her passion for merging health, wellness, and education fully came to light while studying public health in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While abroad, Ana interned with Pilares, an NGO that utilizes an integrated approach to bring health and education services to under-resourced communities.

Throughout undergraduate, Ana worked as a writing tutor during the school year and a lead camp counselor and pediatric rehabilitation volunteer during the summers. Ana’s experiences in child care and education have taught her that collaboration with students and their support systems is key to helping them realize their maximum potential.
