Jennifer Valdez

Jennifer grew up in Menlo Park and Belle Haven and attended Palo Alto schools. After high school, she attended Foothill Community College where she received an A.A. degree in Psychology and transferred to the University of California, Davis. Jennifer's curiosity for the growth of human beings during childhood and beyond led her to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development with a Minor in Education. Throughout college, she worked at a home day care and volunteered at an elementary school and preschool, which led her to recognize her passion for working with children. After college she spent three years working as a Advance Behavior Technician. Now she is working on receiving her Master’s and Credential in Special Education at San Jose State University. 

Jennifer finds joy interacting and creating relationships with those around her, especially with children and their families. She is thrilled to learn and teach at The Primary School!
