Jerome Intia

Jerome is committed to educational equity, in order for all children and communities to have an opportunity to succeed. He has held leadership roles in communications and development for over 15 years. Jerome’s work in education started in the Bay Area as a teacher for Santa Clara Unified School District. He later transitioned into corporate communications and business development for many years, then took on a role with Teach for the Philippines as their founding Director of Public Relations and Communications. Having spent more than a decade in the Philippines, he returned to California for development and communications roles with Teach For America California Capital Valley in Sacramento. Prior to joining The Primary School, Jerome helped lead the communications and development efforts of Teach For America Bay Area’s 30th Anniversary.  Jerome is a proud California native, and he holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Asian American Studies from University of California Los Angeles.
