Virginia Solano-Bean

Virginia is a South Bay native born and raised in downtown San Jose. She graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from De Anza College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Oaks College. She has taught at De Anza College and San Jose State Child Development Center Lab Schools, California State Preschool, Head Start and Mulberry Parent Participation School. She is still passionate about teaching young children with more than 40 years of teaching. She was drawn to Primary School’s mission of bringing together all the adults in the child’s life to provide a comprehensive support system for each child. It fits with her dedication to young children and families. She is grateful to be part of The Primary School Community.
