Spark Innovation Grants are mini-grants available to staff at The Primary School. They are in memory of Meredith Liu, our co-founder who passed away in 2022.

Meredith took enormous joy in imagining the many ways we could better serve children and families. Through these grants, staff at The Primary School are invited to carry on Meredith’s legacy of innovation and imagination by developing proposals that will bring joy and soul to our community next year.

 
 

    • Mini-grants available to staff for projects that will bring joy and soul to the TPS community in our final year

    • Grant amount from $2,000 - $5,000

    • All full-time staff at TPS sites below the Director level

    • Applications can be submitted anytime in June

    • Early August: Grant winners are announced

    • August 2025 - June 2026: Projects are implemented
