Denise Laney

Ever since she was little, Denise knew she wanted to be a teacher. While her peers complained about school, it was the highlight of Denise's day. She wanted to show others how fun and exciting school can be.

Originally from San Jose, CA, Denise earned her Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts at De Anza College. After graduating she moved to Utah to attend the University of Utah. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, minoring in Consumer and Community studies. Upon moving to Colorado, Denise pursued a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership. Denise has dedicated her life to education for the last 10 years. She has experience with an assortment of curriculum such as Smart Start, Star Fall, and Creative Curriculum.

When she is not teaching, Denise loves to take her two rescue dogs on fun adventures. Camping, hiking, traveling, and trying new foods are some of her favorites hobbies.
