Dan Hong Li

Dan Hong was born and raised in China before coming to the US in her early adulthood. She has lived in the Bay Area ever since. She took ECD classes at Laney and Chabot college. Dan is passionate about teaching Early Childhood Education because she loves to work with children and connect with communities. Dan has worked at a Head Start Program for 10 years, helping kids learn and grow. She is grateful to gain experience and knowledge from working with young students and families. Dan can also speak Cantonese and Mandarin, guiding children who speak Chinese to overcome language barriers.

Dan joined the Primary School team because she stands by their emphasis on inclusivity and diversity in the academic setting. As assistant teacher, she strives to continue learning and gaining more experience to support children’s educational journey.
